(Senior) Scientist – Animal Models and Translational Sciences (m/f/d) (PhD)

in the field of immunotherapy for the treatment of hematological malignancies.

Requirements

• PhD in cancer biology, immunology, molecular biology or related fields
• Previous professional experience in pharmaceutical industry
• Practical experience in working with mouse models and in vivo research
• Broad expertise with commonly used life sciences R&D methods (FACS, qPCR, cell-based assays, etc.)
• Proactive and self-organized workstyle
• Excellent interpersonal skills and passion for working in an international environment
• Solid written and oral communication skills in English. German knowledge is not a requirement but an advantage

 Responsibilities

• Planning, executing and analysis of in vivo and in vitro experiments
• Writing and reviewing research reports
• In-house expert in the field of in vivo models

Research Technician – Translational Sciences (m/f/d)

in the field of immunotherapy for the treatment of hematological malignancies.

Requirements

• MSc (or BSc with substantial experience) in life sciences or related fields, or completed BMA/MTA education with significant experience in the field of cancer research and animal models
• At least 1 year of prior laboratory experience, including work with mouse models,  standard biochemical and molecular biology techniques (protein expression and purification incl. different antibody formats), evaluation of protein/antibody interactions, and execution of enzymatic and cellular assays
• Standard cell culture techniques (BSL1/BSL2), including cultivation and expansion of primary human and mouse cells
• Felasa certification or equivalent
• Proactive and self-organized working style
• High level of accuracy and reliability
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and German
• Additional beneficial qualifications
• Previous professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry is of advantage
• Prior experience in laboratory management

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the planning and taking direct responsibility for conducting, analyzing, and documentating experiments
• Continuously developmenting and optimizing assays and methods
• Establishing, updating and improving work-related SOP
• Supporting the processing of primary human and mouse material
• Participating in the organization and management of the laboratory to ensure smooth workflows, includingordering supllies, preparing reagents, and mantaining  equipment functionality

• Gesundheitsdaten (nur wenn erforderlich, z. B. für Krankenstände – Art. 9 Abs. 2 lit. b DSGVO)
• Bild- und Videoaufzeichnungen (sofern betriebsnotwendig oder mit Einwilligung)

3. Empfänger der Daten

Ihre Daten werden nur an interne Stellen und im erforderlichen Umfang an Dritte übermittelt:

• Sozialversicherungsträger, Steuerberater, Rechtsanwälte
• IT-Dienstleister, Lohnverrechner
• Behörden im Rahmen gesetzlicher Verpflichtungen

Eine Übermittlung in Drittstaaten erfolgt nur, wenn geeignete Garantien gemäß Art. 44 ff. DSGVO vorliegen.

4. Speicherdauer

• Bewerbungsunterlagen: bis zu 6 Monate nach Abschluss des Bewerbungsverfahrens (sofern keine Einwilligung zur längeren Evidenzhaltung)
• Arbeitsverhältnisse: Speicherung gemäß gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten (z. B. 7 Jahre nach Ende des Arbeitsverhältnisses)
