(Senior) Research Technician – Translational Sciences
(MTA, BMA, Research Lab Assistant)
in the field of immunotherapy for the treatment of hematological malignancies.
Requirements
· MSc in life sciences or related fields, or completed BMA/MTA education with significant experience in the field of cancer research and animal models
· Prior laboratory experience of at least 5 years:
· Standard biochemical techniques including protein expression and purification (e.g. different antibody formats), techniques to evaluate protein/antibody interactions, enzymatic and cellular assays
· Standard cell culture procedures and primary cell cultivation and expansion (human and mouse origin)
· Work with animal models, Felasa traning of an advantage
· Proactive and self-organized workstyle
· High accuracy and reliability
· Solid written and oral communication skills in English and German
· Additional beneficial qualifications: Previous professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry; Previous laboratory management experience
Responsibilities
· Contribution to planning and direct responsibility in conduct, analysis and documentation of experiment
· Continuous development and optimization of assays and methods
· Establishing, updating and improving work-related SOPs
· Support in processing of primary human and mouse material
· Involvement in organization and management of the laboratory to ensure smooth workflows in the lab (ordering, preparing reagents, ensuring functionality of equipment)
